hey all...
it's always been a while that I'll be missing from Blogger.
Hence, I think it is a better way to intro you to some other stream where you could get more updates of mine.

First of all===>>>> The new Dayre... dayre.me/suk_ling

Dayre is the latest and best mobile blogging apps at the moment. You can choose to blog at the moment you took the pictures... You can also just post up words, check-ins.... The only problem with it is the video part.. Super troublesome la.. cause it is limited. It is best only you record with its feature. I tried with the original camcorder apps of my phone, it just too big couldn't be uploaded. Even it is already under 30 sec length.

Second is Instagram...

It is the famous mobile photos app too... =D I used to be more into Instagram rather than any other apps, such as Facebook, Blogger... It is linked to Facebook, so I dont have to worry about it.. But not Blogger. I preferred this more compared to Blogger before Dayre came out...

Although those apps are preferred, I will not leave Blogger behind. Those two apps are specially for the use on the phone only.

So ya.. that's all for now.

After so long...

Education is a never ending thing in one of the part of our life.
In Chinese, there's always a quote, "活到老, 学到老".
Translated as live till you're old, then you'll learn till you're old... Kind of directly translated.

I was being described as perfectionist when I studied in college. I would do my very best to obtain a good result. However, everything has changed ever since I came to Australia to study.

1. Weather: Winter
I'm from a Tropical Country, means there is a definite no winter happening in Malaysia. So, this is like crazy for me. I have never experienced winter in my life before coming to Australia. Maybe I did experience once while I was very young, basically no memories on that before, just remember that the black swan wanna eat my legs off. =.= and some of the memories came from the photos taken during that time.

So winter in Perth is considered not that cold already and yet I couldn't stand it. I felt hungry all the time and slept super early. So, basically after school after dinner after dish washing and all that, I have no time to study.. Why? Tired already.

Tsk tsk tsk...

2. Foreign lecturer...with their super strong accent...
Yes, my 1st semester I met lecturers with super strong accent. That makes me have difficulties in paying attention during lectures. Haiya.. Many would say. IT'S NORMAL... For newbies, it's not normal at all. I'm not the super smart people ma.. Nonetheless, the lecturers speak super fast. English is their mother tongue. Couldn't stop them from doing that. You'll realise when you meet an Asian lecturer, and you'll find the difference. Asian lecturers tend to speak slower compared the English lecturer, and I tend to be able to catch them much easier. No choice, it's the matter of getting used to it.

Basically, that's all I complained about when I first came to Australia.
Totally motivated after one semester unless my lecturer for the unit is an Asian. =.=
Not trying to be racist. It's just that it's how my brain works. I understand slower when it came to a unit that it with a English lecturer.

Sigh. After 2 and half year, I finally finished my studies. I still kind of worried. It all comes to the final paper. If I fail that unit again, I have no idea what is going to happen to me. I would say NO to another semester. I would cry about it. If I pass that unit, I'm officially graduated. This will have to wait until mid-Decemeber, which is when my result going to be released.

Today is the first day after exam... More to blog of... Stay tuned.

Photos photos photos app~

I have been looking for an application which I could use to edit my photos, especially my pimple pores, eye bags, etc. I know.. photo-editing is sort of a lie to people's eye, but who on earth doesn't want to have a pretty and flawless in the photos?

So, today while I was on the train towards the city, I played with my phone. I took a photo with my phone using the Camera 360 apps. In this app, there's "Beauty" function. However, today my pores are very visible even adding the function in.

I tried to open Cymera which I previously downloaded. Yes! This time, I loved this app.
I could use Concealer and put up some make up.
Eye liner + Mascara + Blusher..
Then I don't have to look so pale.

Other than that, I could decorate the pic with some simple stuff.
I may sound so "sua gu" hahaha.
It means Cave-woman.
haha. But I am so excited..

Tips to share from what I learnt from my recent trip to New Zealand

My trip to North Island was awesome~ It was not only amazing but a brand new experience. It was my very first trip away from home which I am NOT FAMILIAR with and going along with a group of friends. If you are a SHOPAHOLIC and expected to have a lot of shopping around, this may not be the place you want to be. New Zealand is one of the countries that has a lot of scenery. It is suitable for people who are adventurous. You would find a lot of places that give a lot of cheap accommodations and car rental prices. With that, it is obvious that I'm going to share the experience of how my friends and I have prepared ourselves for the trip. In this post, I will include some of the budgeting and pricing and some of the useful websites. 

Prior to your trip, you will always need to make bookings for your flight, (which is a definite thing!), place to stay, and transportation during the tour. My friends and I have got a lot of deals from websites that will be posted up later. We have saved up plenty of money~ This is always the best thing to know when it comes to saving up money. Yay~!

First of all, I was in charge of renting a car for our trip. However, it all depends on how you are going to plan for your trip, whether you want to drive by yourself or using public transport. From town to town, there are two different websites that I know would have buses going from one town to another. The two websites are Naked Bus and Intercity Bus. In these two websites, they also offer other deals such as cruises and more for lower price, that is when you booked a bus ticket with them. I bought a Dolphin and Whale cruise, which saved up NZ$30++, as compared to the original price. This trip is not included in the trip with my friends as I were staying longer as compared to my other friends.

Due to amount of people that we have (7 of us), we decided to rent a 7 seata car, which is much more convenient. Another issue that we decided to rent a car is that our timetable was very packed. We need a lift during early morning even before dawn. So there's no other reason not renting a car. We rented our car from Jucy Rental NZ. Google it and you'll find it. =D The reviews with Jucy are pretty good, so we decided to get a car rented from them. Things you'll need to make sure is that always check your credit card account, just in case they mis-charge you for fuel. I got that, but they got back to us pretty fast after my friend called them. Overall, I am satisfied with their customer service although I can't get through every time I called.

Next thing would be Accommodation. My brother recommended these two websites: <http://www.travelbug.co.nz> and <http://www.bbh.org.nz>. Checkout for more options with your budgeted price, and again Google for reviews and photos before you're booking it. That will always be good to check before deciding, otherwise you'll got scam as they get your credit card details etc. However, the most important thing before you're actually placing any booking is that you'll need to have your trip PRE-PLANNED. Otherwise, you won't know where will you be at the time. Last minute prices are always very scary.

纽西兰之旅第一章... My New Zealand Trip~ 1

七月四日 July 4th, 2013

On this date, I have prepared to pull my luggage to the airport to start my winter vacation~! To be exact, my flight was actually on July the 5th.. --->>> midnight 00:50... Therefore, I will have to be there by around 10:50 PM of the 4th. So it was kind of confusing at the beginning. 

However, I packed all my stuffs, got ready and left house at around 9:30 PM. 

Oh well.. Two things happened while I was on my way to the airport.

First thing would be we went onto the wrong road. We were supposed to be heading Terminal 3 & Terminal 4, but we were on the way towards T1 & T2. That wasn't a big problem.

Second thing... sigh... bad news... when we were looking for the roads where we could do a U-turn, I received a text message. Flight DELAYED till 5 AM... which is really disappointing.. Means I had to sleep at the airport.. oh well... 

Arrived at the airport, the Qantas staff recommended me to have my luggage checked in and wait inside the lounge. So, I had my luggage dropped into the cargo and went inside the lounge la... Have nothing to do ma... 

Gone through all the checks, went inside and sat there... I was wondering what the staff told me. Getting free coffee?? I wondered where I should be getting them from. What I could do is observe what other people from the same flight doing. After a while, decided to walk towards the customer service counter and asked. 

Blur blur... and got it. 

I didn't buy anything before it was getting late. Thought I should stay awake and sleep on the plane later.
Started to get bored and went to get something to eat. =D Not with the voucher I received. Something Blueberry Muesli Yogurt.
