New Year's Eve...

Today's post has nothing to do with the title actually.. 

Just that the song is running my mind now. (=.=")

It sounds weird tho. 

Today, I finally bought the enlarging contact lenses, which cost me RM40. 

It can last for 3 months but recommended wear till uncomfortable then stop wearing it. 

Will be wearing it for tomorrow's photo shooting session. 

That photo session cost me RM80 which comes with 2 x 5R and 1 x 8R photos together with make-ups and hair setting. Many people told it's more reasonable la which I'm still not sure about it. 

I chose to do it tomorrow because tomorrow is NEW YEAR EVE!!!! 

Oh crap~! The actual reason is that tomorrow night is my friend's wedding reception in Kuching. 

Since I'm not a know-how-to-make-up person, I need someone's help and the bridal shop do have Make Up services + Hair setting which is also RM80. Of cause I do it together la. Help myself in saving cost. =)

Alright, am doing part-time business + full time civil engineering training. 

My part time business can be seen on my Facebook & Blog. =)

What a Tiring day...

Yesterday (Tuesday) was a tiring day.

Maybe it's because I slept late the night before.

After work, I quickly bathed and ate my dinner. Then I slept. Yerr it's fattening.. LoL

But I didn't care much, just fallen asleep like that.

Well, I am a dreamer who dreams whenever I sleep. and with that tiring day, I did not dream anything.

This is fantastic for me, as my brain got its rest. =)

长命雨 Long Life Rain

It has been raining since 11:30++ PM 24th Decemeber (Christmas Eve) in Kuching...

A non-stop rain on Christmas 25th December...

On 26th December.. Stopped for a while during the morning hour.. Then continue to rain lightly in the afternoon...

Today 27th December Midnight.. It rains heavily again... =.=

I woke up around 9am... Woke up don't know what to do..

Created a new blog for my internet business.. Hope it works..

After lunch, I watch the drama, 王子遇上二公主.
Quite ok lar..

After that, I went out with my friend, Ben. Went to the spring. Watched movie.
Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol
Very nice. But MBO's sound system is now poor.
Then supper.

Then I'm now home.. Online blogging again. =)

I personally spent my Christmas with my friends.. =D
I went out around 11am fetched my friend, Mey Sien and went to Laven Bridal Studio.. To meet my dear friend a.k.a. sister Eleen who will be married this January.
Mey Sien is gonna be the photographer on the 31st December for the dinner.
=D loved being there to watch her trying out different gowns..
After that, Mey Sien & I went for lunch at Ipohtown. Ate Ipoh Curry Mee... After that, sent Mey Sien home..
I went to Josephine's house. My sec school senior's house.. she invited me and others.. but in the end I went alone.. got to meet Jo's besties Julia.. =D.. around 6 I went home.. Hehe..
Fed my furkids.. and my friend called me out for dinner. Went to hills.. unfortunately station one was so full... So went to Kimbay..

Hoho~ After dinner, my friend sent me home and gave me a Christmas pressie~ I called him Sick Santa.. Poor one.. Sleep early~ Rest well.. Hope you'll recover soon. Can't say anything much..

It's Christmas Eve today~

Christmas Eve

Pathetic for me to work on Christmas eve.. Yea~! WORKING!!!!

Anyway, my work is to read the BQ for the new project… Read until my mak jiu @@...

After work, I went to find my BFF, Ange. But actually I was supposed to be having Laksa with my another friend Mee Mee.. But unfortunately, the way to her home is having a massive traffic jams~~!! People are going back to kampong for Christmas Eve… With that we cancelled our lunch meet up..

Ok~ When I started my journey from MJC, it doesn’t rain. The rain started once I reached somewhere near SJK Chung Hua No. 6.. Then heavy rains all the way till the roundabout after the Satok Bridge. At the roundabout near E Mart, the roads were dry up dy…X.X weird weather tho.

Once I reached her home, I hang out for a while, talking to her niece, who is super cute~! She’s not scare of stranger like me.. hahaha..

So we talked for quite a while before we headed for lunch at Life Café of Jalan Keretapi..

As usual, I would order “Ma Lak Mian” + Sago Pearl Milk Tea… With a side order “jian Jiao”..

Then outside started to rain again.. X.X We finished our food-à stopped again~! Stupid weather~!

After lunch, we went to 3^rd mile to collect my ecotools. Make up brushes.

I don’t really do make ups.. But I need to practice anyway.

So what’s next:~~~~~ Hunting for a container or measuring cup for my Monavie Acai Berry… 30ml twice a day.

First day, 排毒. Hahha… well.. In the end, I’m gonna use the Chicken Essence bottle.. since it’s 70ml. Just put half will consider as 35ml I hope.. haha..

Went to Guardian near Simpang Tiga à No

Went to Pharmacy around Padungan à No

So we gave up and I went for hair wash.. The person who wash my hair and dry my hair, do not have enough skill and energy.. == Forgive her.

After the hair wash, we went to the Hills. Not wanting to go home yet~! n.n

Walking around without any purposes. We should have just sit down and talk. Hahaha..

Since there’s nothing to do there, I send Ange home le.. Cause it’s nearly 6..

After sending her home, I arrived home, bring my dogs for a walk to pee poo then feed them, then out again with my mom to get 竹叶.

Then I am home updating my blog that I should have updated long ago.

And it’s because today it’s Christmas Eve. I think I should just post something about today.

Nothing much happened anyway. Didn’t celebrate with friends. No friends date me out. How pathetic~?! 

Haha. Anyway, I am currently enjoying myself updating my blog now. =) Still have another 1 and a half hour left. So I’ll just post this up.. And continue with my other blog post.. =E haha.

*Days before going to Perth again*

Well, after a tiring day, we all slept till very late the next morning.

I can't really remember what we have done. But just remembered shopping I guess and in search for mom's new phone. And we went to granny's house.

Later that night, I went out with my BFF, Lee Mian. Since she's staying very near to my house. So asked my brother to bring me to fetch her, then we go to Tarot Cafe. We hang out for a bit till quite late. =D
And back home, packing again.

The next day, we took morning flights to Singapore then to Perth~

Well, that's the bit of the time I spent when I was back in Kuching.

Arrivals in Kuching + Wedding preparation + Wedding days.

Yeap~ From the last post, I mentioned about the journey in the aeroplane + Singapore before reaching my home~

Once we arrived in Kuching, I got so excited. Walked quickly to the Immigration Check --> get our luggages ---> Saw mom waiting out there.
As soon as I walked out there, I gave mom a big bear hug~~ Miss her so much..

Then we walked to the car.. where Dad is waiting for us... hehehe...

And so, we went to 7th Mile to have another lunch... Didn't feel very full at all... *FAT*
We went to the usual kopitiam.. don't know what's its name. Will make sure I check that the next time I go there. We had a "cheng" a mixture of pork meats with fishball, fish, pork blood, tauhu, vege + etc... very nice lar.. =D

Then we went home after that, because we had Apple Strudel in the car which is needed to be immediately stored in the refrigerator. Ok. This apple strudel only can be found in Australia. or maybe just Perth. The bakery named Corica, everyday has a certain amount made. It is so tasty yet expensive. AUD 19/ each... Super long one lar... I bought once, and that time my brother came back to Kuching to attend my cousin, Susan's wedding. I ate it for breakfast lunch dinner and supper. Siao liao... But it's really nice.. hahaha.. Here's a photo of it..

Ok back to the story...
After I've reached home, went over to my aunt's house to talk to my cousin and her..
then what I can remember is I was damn tired.. LoL..

Mom keep asking me whether I have dress to wear on my cousin's wedding or not.. Maybe I was too tired to think of.. So we did shopping the next day but I didn't bought anything at the spring. Only went for manicure with my cousin. =D

Then Me Bride's assistant. To help my cousin to jaga this and that, remind her this and that. Hahaha... Well ya, maybe that's my first time doing stuff like that and want things to be done perfectly, I was so nervous I guess, cause my cousin, Xin Yi keep telling me don't so stressed. Hahahaha...

Alright on that day, so nervous, hair so ugly~ damn it.. shouldn't have cut my hair first. we makeup while bride make up too... 2 photographers + 1 videographer in action.

and then what's happening in the front door I really don't know. Because I was waiting in the room with my cousin.. Penjaga~! hahaha...

Once my new 姐夫 reached the front door. the cameraman came in first... then I become penjaga pintu to open the door... hahaha... Was so "gan dong"... hahaha...

Follow up and follow down~~ Follow 新娘, the bride around~Until she came back 娘家。I baru stop following..

After that, bathed + sleep~!!!!!!! Until 3:00 something lar... My cousin's friend, Fanny and Angel came to fetch me for hairdo. The saloon got too many people.

So yes~! I'm late again.. Sien... But luckily everything's alright.. =D

Well~~ After the wedding reception, she of cause go to her hubby's house liao... We all went home also... So happy~~ talked non-stop.. We still makan the cake... A still not being cut cake.. hahaha..

So after getting all the make ups off... bathed and gao gao chu lo...

First Journey back home (October 2011)

Yup~
From the title, I came back home after been to Perth for around 3 months.
This return is specially to attend my beloved cousin, Xin Yi's wedding, which was held on the 30th of October.

Yup, I knew some of you who knows my family would say why I did not come back for my cousin, Susan's wedding. I really wanted to come back, but that time, I just started uni for only 1 week (excluding the orientation week). That time I was still adapting with the teaching and every other things. I am sorry for not being able to be there.

Ok. Back to the journey, we took Tiger Airways from Perth to Singapore then took Air Asia from Singapore to Kuching.

For Long Journey, I would never recommend you to use Tiger Airways, as they are using a smaller airplane.. which is 6 seats per row. I personally have knee problem, the space is too small that I hardly move and makes me very uncomfortable. I tried my best to sleep anyway. We reached Singapore Budget terminal around 3++am and went outside took a shuttle to transfer from Budget Terminal to Terminal 2. It was so hot once we arrived. Starts to feel sticky. =.= Maybe in Perth, it was still Spring. Not summer yet.

So when we reached Terminal 2, it was already 4:++ am.. While we were waiting for my brother, Khang's friend, we took the password for accessing Internet in Terminal 2 information centre. We need to use our passport for it. When the friend arrived, we ate our breakfast at Ah Kun Kaya & Toast Cafe at Terminal 3. Actually my brothers and I were sleepy. But we walked around, they talked and walked and walked until nearly 10am. We check in our bags and went into the lounge to wait.

In the lounge, we keep searching for alcohol at first (but we didn't buy any in the end). Then walked to a bookstore and my brother, Shiun found the Steve Jobs Biography book is a lot cheaper than those in Australia

And my cousin, Ping asked us to buy one for him. Hahaha. We online inside the terminal while waiting for the time comes. We did the phone roaming for our Australia line. ><"

We took Air Asia. It was much more comfy. We slept even before the plane even flew, but after sleeping for roughly half an hour, the plane still queue-ing for departure..><" Too many airplanes depart from the same length. Can you imagine if you're outside watching the plane queue-ing and fly one bye one. It would be real nice. We continue to sleep, sleep, sleep and sleep. Then I woke up, can't sleep already. Took out my lappy watched drama. ^^

Arrived around 1:30pm. And I realised that since I reached Singapore, before departure I already had 2 meals, breakfast and lunch. When I reached home, we went for lunch lagi~! Means 3 meals one morning.. Fattening...

21st Birthday~~

On my birthday, there's nothing much special.

So, during my birthday, I don't have to go to Uni, as it's already the study week. Why is my birthday always close to exams.. >< LoL.

I think I didn't went out to pamper myself. Hahaha... I was too lazy to go out alone anyway.

At that night, my brothers and Kelly brought me to Ciao Italia for dinner. So we ordered Chilli Mussels, a Seafood Pizza and there's another one, which I couldn't remember clearly now. We had Tiramisu & a Chocolate Peppermint ice cream for dessert. What's lovely about this restaurant is that their staff sang birthday song when they deliver the desserts.. =)

Life in Perth...(August - November 2011)

It's basically the same over the weeks.

Every Sunday, my brothers, Kelly & I, the four of us will go to Subiaco Market to buy vegetables and fruits. Then to Northbridge to buy meat.. Other than that, weekdays, we normally cooked at home instead of having dinner out.

Some Fridays or Saturdays, we will have dinner with my Khang brother's friends. They are really nice and friendly people... In the whole table, all of them are couples except for me and my Shiun brother. Hahaha... They actually requested to intro ladies to him..><'' LOL..

I went for Karaoke twice.... Love it... + drank alcohol too.. not much though.. hahaha...
I went for movie once... with my Primary school classmate, Doreen Chai HUI YINg.. (If she saw this, she's gonna kill me.. =P)
Oh.. now I remember, that was before Uni starts and we also get to meet up and hang out with our Class MONITOR, Sandy Wong Su Beng~~~ hehehehehe... They really gonna kill me now.. hahaha...

Shopping around the City.. I guess that's all the life in Perth.. =D Will update the next one " My Birthday".. =D

Uni Life (August ~ November 2011)

Studying in UWA is totally a new thing to me.
Foreign lecturers. No friends.

I really hate it, to start a new thing especially.
The way the lecturer taught in lecture, super fast, super Un-understandable. I don;t get what they say. Sigh.. I'm weak, I know.

Unable to concentrate fully. Tired. I don't feel like to mentioning about the uni's stuff now.

After final exam~ I'm waiting for my results. ~~~!!!

FYI, I have put my blog to OPEN.

Uni Orientation Week... 25/07/2011 ~ 29/07/2011

When it comes to a new life for new people in the university, there will be at least a few days of Orientation. As for UWA, their orientation is for a week.

To be exact, just 4 days.

On Monday, we were to collect our uniStart pack from the Undercroft Hall.. I got to meet my group leader, Peiyu upon registration. After that, I proceed to Octagon Theatre for the orientation starts. All about basic introduction towards the Uni as well as the Ab-originals of Australia. I found that it is very interesting. After that, we were asked to find our group leader and starts to get to know each other. From my group, they are basically from China, Singapore & Malaysia. Haha..

I forgotten to mention, it's International Student Orientation for that day. They are a lot of student who came for the student exchange from USA.. After getting to know a few friends, let me try to name a few of them.. Sue Ann from Terengganu, Daniel from Johor, Farkhan from Kuala Lumpur, Afta (don't know if I spelt it correctly) from Singapore, Stephen from China, Peiyu from China & more (don't remember who they are dy). =D It's basically introduction towards the Australia cultures, banks, rules and courses stuff.

On my second day, I can't really remember what I did. What basically that I know is a Pre-Enrolment session for our course. I think I was late that day + I couldn't find the way to the place of the session for ECM school.. which was at Weatherburn Mathematics building. ><"

After that session, there is a UWA sports FUN DAY organised by the uni.. WHICH I was late for that.. due to the pre-enrolment session. So Sue Ann & I just walk around to have a look..
That's all for the day actually.

Wednesday is the free day of the week, whereby there's a bus trip to Caversham Wildlife Park. The zoo that I've been to with my cousin and brothers. So I just saved that money for next time. =D

Thursday - considered as the most important day for me. Enrolment Day.
I arrived very early in Uni. Starts queuing up for my turn to get my study plan.
Due to my brother's thought of certain units which are unreasonably not exempted, I sat there for more than a few hours just to talk to him. After that, the lady who actually talked to my brother, told me to proceed with the next step instead of spending time waiting there. So I proceed to other things.

After a few steps, came to taking picture for my campus card, the system broke down.. SO I again continue with other steps.. In the middle, there's a lot of student supports around to show students what they have. I went for the enrolment session, where I register for the units that I would be taking. After everything's done, I went back to get my campus card, then to the OLCR which is class registration. For my units, mainly there's no options for choosing the lecture. It's fixed. There's a forth year unit clashes a lot with my other units. ==

Then my brother called me again, he asked me to look for the head of school. But he wasn't in. MY PHONE BATT went dead~~~!!! I have no idea what should I do next. I went to student office. and then I went to find the lady I talked to that morning.

Now she arranged it for me, for the first year PHYSICS - exempted.. Then I changed to take Structural Concrete Design instead of the forth year Structural Dynamics. Structural Concrete & Structural Steel were actually exempted but my brother wants me to retake them. ==

Alright~ That day was so miserable~! I felt like crying~~!!!!!! Cause in the end I did not have my lunch~~~!!!!! HUNGRY~~!!!!

On Friday, is a wide orientation day... Involves the domestic students as well... == just another boring day~

My Days before Uni Starts~2

Seriously.. I need to update my blog more often.
All my besties and lovely friends, they all update more often than I am. Feel so guilty.(=.=)

After my cousin, Kim left Perth, it left me days to go before the orientation week starts.
So most of the time, I would just stay at the apartment, not going any place. Sleep.. Unpacking.. and most importantly cook dinner for my brother..

I am not complaining.. because he is the one who pay for my daily expenses..
Sometimes, especially I have nothing to do, I felt so homesick. I miss my mom, my dad, my friends, my cousins, my aunts, my nephew, my niece, my pet dogs, my favourite food in Kuching~ & etc..

Day by day, I went to play badminton with my brothers.. and you know what...>>> I don't sweat at all. It's too cold (winter). Felt my body very stiff due to the coldness. By the weekend, it's competition. ><"

It is new to me, playing during winter and partner with my brothers + playing single. LoL..
Although we didn't win anything, it was a great experience for me. Hopefully next time will be better than now.

As the title is for before Uni... I guess I'll just stop here.. =D See you in the next post~~

My Days before Uni Starts~

July~

I was tired + cold most of the time.. It's great to come to this place.. Perth.

(Because of busy with Uni stuff.. I didn't get a chance to really update my blog.. Therefore, everything here are quite a mixed up ones, just because I don't really write diary everyday with my SHORT TERM MEMORY LOST all the while.. So I'll briefly talk through about the months that I had been through. )

While my cousin, Kim still around we went to quite a lot of places together..

We went to the city which is very near to the apartment that I am currently staying at. We took Red Cat Bus to Murray Street Hall East.. and walked around until we found London Court.. We shopped around.. and then we had lunch at Chilliz.. It's the cheapest place to have lunch.. 4.50aud for normal meal.. after that, we went to Harbour Town for shopping. We took Yellow cat.. It is a great place for shopping. It consists of different brands for clothing, living, shoes & accessories shops. I bought a hoodie vest and a pair of 20aud Rubi boots. (I can't remember when we went..)

We also went to Kings Park.. We had an adventure there because my brother gave my cousin tasks to be done there. (a.k.a. take picture with the things that you should). We ran around, walked around to find the benchmark gave by my brother. It was so exhausting. Running uphill.. Chasing the bus (we thought it's going to leave but it was still waiting for more passengers.. )

After that, we meet up with my brothers and Kelly for lunch... After lunch ar, I can't really remember where we went... Maybe is Booragoon Bus Station = Garden City...

(Sorry friends, it may sound very boring for reading without pictures.. My fault. Didn't get a chance to take photos...)

Garden City is a shopping mall with a lot of big outlets in there.. Can you imagine 2 supermarkets for you to buy fresh foods and others, another 2 shopping centre that is similar to Parkson in Kuching and one big also shopping centre that is for buying cheaper clothes or other housewares.. These 5 are the big ones... There are many more shops in there... We were exhausted walking around... I fall asleep in the bus for most of the time..

There is one day we went to the beach at Cottlesloe... Great beach.. (but I still fall asleep in the bus).. =P

After that, we went to my current Uni (UWA) to have a walk.. My first time here.. It was big... and takes time to walk around... After we've walked around the James' Oval and Guild Village, we took the bus down to Barrack St... Then we took photos around.. But fyi all the photos are blurred.. Sigh.. We walked to Supreme Court, Bell Tower then come to the jetty.. We took Ferry to South Perth... It was fun.. =D We were assigned a task to find the Mill Point house... which surprisingly, the residents around that area, don't even know where the place is. ==''

We ended up lost no where... Don't know where to head..

Walked until my brother called us.

He came to fetch us for dinner after that.

I guess that's all I can remember when my cousin was still here in Perth.

I'll continue with "My Days before Uni Starts~2" when my cousin has left Perth. And the weeks before I go for the Orientation Week... Chao~

New Place to Live..

July 9th, 2011
After dealt with the new apartment, starts with my first day.
Fremantle was the first place i went.
It is like a small town within Perth.
Had Fish & Chip meals for lunch at Cicerello's.. It's big and tasty..
Another interesting venues are Fremantle Prison & the Round House..
Loved these 2 great places..
Both are MUST go places..
Other than that we went to the Maritime Museum.. It was a long day..
By evening, we went to Little Creature at Fremantle or Freo for dinner.. had chili mussels and pizzas.. love them all~~ very delicious o~~

July 10th, 2011
Today, it's very cold.. woke up around nine.. and went to a restaurant owned by HK ppl.. I loved their dim sum.. which is different what I've tasted back in hometown.. but what I missed most back in hometown are laksa, kueh chap & kolo mee..
After breakfast, we went to Caversham Wildlife Park..
Got to watch how the wool is trimmed from the sheeps..
Other than that, learnt how they milk a cow.. We also got to touch the koalas & kangaroos... wombats too.. :)
It drizzles so the kangaroos are sitting or sleeping under the trees or shed...  It was a tiring day.. Because after we went to the park, we went to the chocolate factory, honey making & wine & cheese tasting place.. They have everything that are free-tasting..

We had dinner at the house of a friend of my grandma's.. met her family and her cooking were so great.. that was my first weekend in Perth.. I will try to update more asap..

New Blog New Life

Welcome to my new blog.
It has been a long time since I created my first blog.

July 8th, 2011
I left home to further my study. I felt that I am not well-prepared. For the first time, I saw tears in my dad's eyes. I didn't cry in front of everyone, as I want them to be happy for me.
I felt heavy upon leaving.. It's not just the luggage heavy, my Heart feels heavy..
Thank you for my dear friends who came and who wanted to come (due to personal stuff couldn't come) to the airport to farewell with me. Thanks to my aunt and cousin who came too.

Once I got through the Immigration Check and went into the lounge... Tears started to roll out from my eyes.Everyone around was looking at me... So embarrassing... I started to miss home.. The flight delayed from 3.05pm to 3.30pm.. In the flight, I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. So I just flip the magazines around.

Reached in LCCT by around 5.30pm. I alone walking around the airport for a place to charge my mobile phone. In the end, went to Coffee Bean, ordered Hot Chocolate and sat down to charge my phone and started to go online. Battery was almost low. So I switched off my labtop, and hopefully my phone is fully charged. Then I walked around again. Searching for a place where I can put my luggage trolley with me while I had my dinner.

So I ate Roasted Chicken Rice. Met someone from Labuan. Had a very nice talk with her. And she helped me to pass my time. When she needed to go for boarding, it's time for me to CHECK-IN. There's a lot of people queuing for check-in. Afraid that the person would not let my luggage to pass through as my luggage is slightly overweight. But I guess I am lucky, she didn't care about it. After check-in, it's time for boarding. I actually got lost of my way for boardings. Then my brother called. And I found my way in. They used the manual way to check my luggage's weight. It was slightly more. But I got through. =)

When I went in, I walked around to the boarding lounge. It's at the most end. I walked around for water, ear plugs and something for me to bite while waiting for the plane. Walked around. Called my parents & my foster parents. Then, my cousin XY called. To pass my time. There's a lot of English people waiting at the lounge too. I mentioned them as English people because I was not sure about their nationality. There was a guy playing guitar at the lounge before he board on his plane.

Time actually pass very slowly because I was alone and got nothing to do. I messaged my parents telling them "I love them". My dad replied me. I felt like crying that time, but there were so many people there, so I'll just wait until I got onto the plane. It was really heavy and tired.

After board onto the plane, I fall asleep very quickly before the plane actually flew. Fall asleep all the way and woke up by 3am in the morning feeling hungry. Forgotten to mention what was my flight departed from LCCT. It was 11.50pm... which was pretty late. Ok, back to feeling hungry, so I bought a cup of Milo and had Pizza. After finished with the food, I fall asleep again. Imagine how tired was I.

Around 5am, almost arrive. 5.30am landed at Perth International Hospital. It took me 30 minutes to go through the Immigration Check and Declaration. My brother said that was very fast. Maybe I was just lucky. Because those travelled in groups were still buying stuff from the Free Duty Area.

So once I was outside, I saw no one. My brothers were not there yet. Just because I forgotten to call them first place when I was out of the plane. So I had to wait for them. We went to my 2nd brother's apartment, refreshed myself, and I took a nap before the new landlord came. I had to meet him as I am going to stay in his apartment too. So we signed the documents and took the keys. And new apartment.

There's a lot new stuff I will need to learn. New cultures I need to know. and get used with speaking my non-common language. Stay tune for my next post with my first day, first week, 2nd week of my stay in Perth Australia and my 1st week of uni.
